A California native, Alissa received her bachelor’s degree in fine art from UCSB in 1986 and continues to practice art in a variety of forms. For the past 20 years, Alissa has been involved in various roles with numerous nonprofit organizations including SLO County Arts Council, CASA, SLO Film Festival, Central Coast State Parks Ass'n. and Meals That Connect, among others.
